I came across The Handbag Raincoat and am having very mixed emotions. On one hand, I was all you've got to be kidding me, but the more I thought about it, I was reminded of all those rainy and snowy days in NYC where I would do my best to protect my bag with my coat or shopping bags. I don't know... What do you guys think? Would you use one?

  1. It seems liek something I would have in the cupboard but seldom at hand when I need it. It would be like a rain protector for nice leather boots.... not sure

  3. Hmm, I think I would buy it, love it for a day and then probably forget about it. It'd probably come in handy for all the rain we're having in Sydney right now though!

  7. I agree with you. I have mixed emotions as well. I think it's brilliant but I wouldn't use one. Lucky for me it doesn't rain a lot here.

  8. Thats hilarious tbh but I can see the Park ave princesses housing their birkins with it here in nyc. Now for expensive bags, I can kinda see why. But if its a bad day, I would suggest, wearing a more inexpensive and durable bag that can withstand the weather that day.

  9. I'd use it if I had a really expensive bag and it was inexpensive.

  18. I love it! If it folded down small and could be stored in my bag so it was on hand when I need it, I would totally use it! Sometimes I have to try and zip my bag in my jacket. Nothing ruins the structure of a bag like rain - which can be fun for the destroyed look but not a new Celine :P

  19. This is nothing new in JAPAN. When you go shopping and if it's pouring outside, the sales girl put a plastic cover for your shopping bag just like this. Specially made for the shopping bag. :)))) I love genius idea lol
