One of the great things about a black off-the-shoulder top is that it can be worn an endless amount of ways. Here I went with a summer day-date theme that can easily take you into date-night by loosing the sunglasses and swapping the pink gloss for red lipstick.
I have always been incredibly loyal to all the makeup bags I have had in the past, only updating when I absolutely had to due to a rip or broken zipper. My most recent was metallic pink with a top zip that I had used for the past six years, and with it being on its last legs, I set out to replace it. I knew I wanted something black and monogrammed, since I had gotten really tired of the pink and wanted something more elevated. After over a month of searching I happened to bring it up at work and someone mentioned Cuyana as an option. I had completely forgotten how cool their designs are and the fact that they monogram. I went back and forth between the Leather Zipper Pouch and the Leather Travel Case Set, but decided to go with the set since I could use the bigger one when traveling and they both sit upright as opposed to slouching like my old one. Once they arrived, I couldn't have been happier—both were perfectly personalized and felt super luxe making them a definite must-have in my book.
Happy to share that my fiancé and I have finally set a wedding date in July. As some of you may know, my father passed away about a month after we got engaged, so naturally a wedding was no longer top of mind for us. Though it won't be easy not having him there, we feel the timing is right. Many of you may be wondering how or why we are only giving ourselves two and a half months to pull this off, and the answer is that we are going for a small, intimate, and simple celebration. Thankfully, our families will conveniently be in the area for that date. Click below to find out more about my wedding prep and plans...
There's no doubt that fringed tops will be everywhere this season. Here's my laid-back take on the trend that's perfect for the weekend while running errands or brunch with friends.
The lovely team at The Real Real recently reached out to ask what my dream date would be, who it would be with, and what piece from their covet-worthy site I would pick to wear on said date. I immediately knew what my answers were for each question and this is the exact outfit I envisioned featuring my top TRR pick. Date and look details below...
WHO/WHERE
My dream date would be with my fiancé in the city of Paris.
THE PLAN
Aimlessly stroll the beautiful streets, take photos, indulge in sweets and pastries from different patisseries, scour flea markets, people-watch in the parks, have a romantic dinner, and end the day with a concert (preferably The Kills or Feist).
THE REAL REAL PICK
I've been crushing on the Saint Laurent Sac de Jour bag for so long and know it would be the perfect companion since it's incredibly chic and practical.
'Tis the season for holiday parties, so whether you're looking to make a siren statement or keep it subtle, yet cool, let these two looks with my top beauty picks from Dolce & Gabbana be the inspiration for your next party...
For a high-impact look, pair a classic bright red lip with a matching clutch and nail polish. Add some dimension by contouring your face with bronzing powder, then apply a metallic gold eyeshadow for the final festive touch.
If you want something more low-key, but equally stylish, keep it simple by highlighting your face with a shimmery illuminator for a pretty glow. Try a textured white clutch, silver watch, and chic ring to keep with the cool, understated feel.
Complete both looks with an edgy pearl choker and a quick spritz of Light Blue fragrance before you head out the door. This fresh scent is always uplifting, plus it's a guaranteed conversation starter since I always get asked what I'm wearing when I have it on.

As you can see from past posts, I have been a longtime fan of Vince Camuto. They always have incredibly cool pieces that make for great additions to any wardrobe without breaking the bank. For fall and winter, my top picks happened to be black and gold, which all came together for a cozy, yet edgy look. I can't get enough of the black furry textured coat and ankle boots with metallic heels! Get all the details below...

Currently crushing on Stella & Bow jewelry, especially the rings and earrings. Their lovely LA-based team sent over some of my top picks from their current and up-coming fall/winter collections, and I'm hooked. Each piece is the perfect mix of edgy and dainty!
Here is my take on a chic neutral look for fall. I used my top picks from Macy's to style the look, and what's great is that each piece can be used through winter and spring. And yes, I'm all about wearing crisp white jeans year-round, especially with other neutrals!
This asymmetrical printed skirt from Neiman Marcus makes quite the statement. For fall, I thought it would be great styled with a luxe camel sweater, chic sunglasses, a simple silver watch, and a classic quilted bag. As for the shoes, rather than go with an expected pair of lace-up heels or ankle boots, I went with sleek white sneakers give the look a laid-back cool feel. Top with a bright red-orange lip, and you've got a comfy, yet chic fall look!
It's no secret that I'm a huge fun of open closets, and this sleek gold clothing rack from Urban Outfitters is perfect for pulling one off. Start by adding a small selection of your favorite pieces from your wardrobe like classic tops, jackets, jeans and pants. Next, drape a mix of your go-to accessories including a selection of hats, bags and scarves. The key is to make sure that all your picks compliment each other to some extent for a more cohesive look. To complete the space, add simple storage trays to showcase your best jewelry, a few fashion books for inspiration, and an interesting rug where you can line up your top shoe picks. Oh, and don't forget to keep an instant camera handy, so that you can capture and keep track of all of your best looks for easier dressing in the future!

After seeing the amazing designer goodies that Jayne Min of Stop It Right Now has scored from The Real Real, I knew I had to check it out myself. Low and behold, I spotted the exact Sofia Coppola for Louis Vuitton SC bag I've been lusting over, and even recently shared on Instagram, at a fraction of the original cost. That's the beauty of this site—You can find a great selection of pre-owned, authentic designer pieces that you either missed out on in the past, or are currently coveting, but may be a bit outside your budget. They also have a streamlined consignment service that's a great way to sell designer items from your own closet, since you can ship your items in for free or have them come to your home and pick them up. Either way, prepare to get lost and addicted to hunting down those special finds! Below are some of my top picks...
I've gotten some requests recently to share my beauty routine, so even though this is a bit out of my comfort zone, I figured why not have a little fun (hello, kissy face!), and give you guys the run-down. I've always been pretty low-key and try to get my makeup done in about 15 minutes. Here's what I currently use for my daily go-to beauty look...
BLUSH/BRONZER/HIGHLIGHTER: For some definition, I use either the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Bronzer, Highlighter & Blush Palette in Streak or BareMinerals All-Over Face Color in Warmth. I blend the bronzer with any brush I have handy along my cheekbones, hairline and lightly on my nose and chin. If I'm in the mood for a little color I add some of the blush from the palette over the apples of my cheeks. For highlighting, I'm obsessed with Chantecaille Liquid Lumière Illuminator in Sheen. I dab a little along the top of my cheeks, the inner corner of my eyes and under my brow arch for a flattering and subtle glow.
EYES: To begin, I lightly dab one of the bronzers mentioned earlier to my lids for a little depth. Next, I tightline my eyes with simple black eyeliner. I like to use the Almay Contour Crayon Eyeliner since it doesn't smudge as much as a pencil. If I want to add some flair and have some extra time, I like to do a winged cat-eye look with Cover Girl Intensify Me! Liquid Liner. To complete my eyes, I go straight for my Shiseido Eyelash Curler and throw on a few coats of Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara in Very Black.
