Happy to share that my fiancé and I have finally set a wedding date in July. As some of you may know, my father passed away about a month after we got engaged, so naturally a wedding was no longer top of mind for us. Though it won't be easy not having him there, we feel the timing is right. Many of you may be wondering how or why we are only giving ourselves two and a half months to pull this off, and the answer is that we are going for a small, intimate, and simple celebration. Sometimes, less is more, especially when the pieces you pick are expertly crafted. Just take a look at this simple but chic fall look that Elin Kling posted on Instagram. All you need to recreate the cool outfit is a pair of loose-fitting straight-leg jeans, an oversized white button-down shirt, and black heeled mules.

I had already been a fan of these statement Chanel chain boots, but after seeing them in this shot I fell head over heels. They look perfect styled with an understated ribbed grey knit and pair of faded black skinny jeans. Ultimate shoe envy for all those that scored a pair. For now, I will try and satisfy my craving with the Belle by Sigerson Morrison Demetra boot.
