As a self-proclaimed minimalist, I've always been a bit hesitant to jump on any "loud" trend too quickly. Whether it be neon, the naked shoe trend, or, (in this case) sequins—I'll often hold out until I find a way to wear said trend with a slight conservative spin so that it feels "on brand" if you will. This particular outfit is one I'll be copying in the near future. The classic beige coat and knee-high boots offset the impact of the sequin midi-skirt in a way that feels appropriate for both day or night.
