I never thought I'd say this but: regular handbags can be really annoying. Enter, belt bags. Between walking my quick-moving Yorkie throughout Brooklyn, or trying to wrangle myself together at the check out line, a bag with a top-handle or thin straps that continuously slide off my shoulder grinds my gears faster than I thought it would. During the lockdown, I've become a little more utilitarian — shifting my wardrobe and filling it with things that are both easy to use and fashion-forward, and that's how I came across the belt bag again.
