Patent leather was one of fall's top trends but we first spotted it on the streets. It can spark mental pictures of rock bands or grungy emo girls but it doesn't have to when it's done correctly. Patent leather is one of my favorite trends right now. It's funky, fun and versatile. It can also make an outfit more interesting than just plain jeans. In the first picture, I styled my patent leather skirt with ankle boots and a ruffled button down blouse (featuring a fun saying on the pocket) Marta paired her patent leather pants with a feminine, pink blouse, ankle booties and a cool coat. See? Not too rocker.
