Victoria Beckham Has Been Killing It Lately
Photo via: Vogue
We're always intrigued and in awe of Victoria Beckhams' looks; on and off the runway. Ahead of her show earlier this month, she was spotted in Manhattan in the tailored coat of our dreams. Her camel top coat, fitted black turtleneck, and ultra-wide-leg pants took cues from traditional menswear while remaining feminine and demure.

The Street Style Look We're Stealing From Berlin Fashion Week
Photo via: Harpers Bazaar Au
Fashion week, or should we say month, has officially kicked off in Berlin. Since many that attend had to brave the icy chill of winter, there was a plethora of bundling, layering and styling creativity seen on the streets. We appreciated the brightness of this style stars look in contrast to the rainy sidewalks behind her. She wore a royal blue chunky knit under a long teddy coat and opted for red cropped pants and the season's favorite 'ugly sneaker'. This is a look we can get behind.

We're Obsessing Over These Loafers This Season
Photo via: Figtny
A new pair of loafers should be the number one item on your shopping list this season. Not only did this shoe style peak during Fashion Month (let's give Gucci the respect it deserves for rebranding it) but it can also be dressed up or down and worn to any event. If you aren't willing to break the bank for the coveted Gucci fur lined pair, there are plenty of other affordable options. Check out these 12 pairs of loafers that'll carry you through next year.

How to Wear a Patent Leather Trench Coat This Season
Photo via: Harper's Bazaar
This Instagram-worthy material was an obvious stand-out on our social media profiles for months. At one point, it seemed that everyone was sporting a patent leather mini skirt and the shiniest of pointed-toe boots. After Fashion Month, we still saw the constant recurrence and for good reason. It's the perfect edgy alternative to denim, wool, and cotton—all while remaining realistic and easy to style. This is one of our favorite looks featuring the trend in the form of a patent leather trench while including a modern pair of sunglasses, a mini saddle bag, and suede booties.

15 Red Sweaters You Need This Season
Photo via: @ChriselleLim
After fashion month, it became clear that red is the color of the season. The bright, bold color is all you need to liven up a fall/winter look. Add a statement cherry red pop to any outfit, and watch heads turn, or you can go all-in and wear red from head-to-toe. Not sure where to start? Opt for a fall essential: the sweater.

Photos via: Collage Vintage | Vogue Spain
We spotted not one, but two street style stars wearing a Metallica band tee this past fashion month. Both shots feature the unexpected vintage top in contrasting ways. One is a more elevated take with a classic pinstripe blazer and black d-ring pants, while the other is more casual with the tee layered over a metallic mock neck top and jeans.

How to Wear Blush Tones for Fall
Photos via: Song of Style
Putting together the perfect outfit can take a lot of effort and planning but that's what we're here for. Endless inspiration was provided by NYFW and will continue to flow well into the month. Fall is also the perfect time to start over; add new pieces to your wardrobe or replace some of the old with cold-weather-wears. Aimee Song put the lush back in blush with this tonal slip dress, trench coat and satin pumps. We can't get enough.

Must-Have: The Monogrammed Makeup Bag
Photos: Jenn Camp
I have always been incredibly loyal to all the makeup bags I have had in the past, only updating when I absolutely had to due to a rip or broken zipper. My most recent was metallic pink with a top zip that I had used for the past six years, and with it being on its last legs, I set out to replace it. I knew I wanted something black and monogrammed, since I had gotten really tired of the pink and wanted something more elevated. After over a month of searching I happened to bring it up at work and someone mentioned Cuyana as an option. I had completely forgotten how cool their designs are and the fact that they monogram. I went back and forth between the Leather Zipper Pouch and the Leather Travel Case Set, but decided to go with the set since I could use the bigger one when traveling and they both sit upright as opposed to slouching like my old one. Once they arrived, I couldn't have been happier—both were perfectly personalized and felt super luxe making them a definite must-have in my book.

And The Countdown To My Wedding Begins...
Denis Reggie
Happy to share that my fiancé and I have finally set a wedding date in July. As some of you may know, my father passed away about a month after we got engaged, so naturally a wedding was no longer top of mind for us. Though it won't be easy not having him there, we feel the timing is right. Many of you may be wondering how or why we are only giving ourselves two and a half months to pull this off, and the answer is that we are going for a small, intimate, and simple celebration. Thankfully, our families will conveniently be in the area for that date. Click below to find out more about my wedding prep and plans...

Adding Color to A Minimal Wardrobe
Photos via: Beige Renegade
The minimalist's wardrobe is usually built upon neutrals; black, grey, white, creams and the occasional navy blue. After fashion month, a new shade pushed its way into the normcore palette. Blushes and pinks are now considered a neutral in itself. If incorporating a blush tone into your minimal outfit, opt for the lightest shade of pink or a ruddier one. Fashion blogger Jiawa Liu does this perfectly in her blush blazer, denim shorts and statement sandals.

MY GUIDE TO LA
Photos: My Own
As some of you may know from my instagram feed, I spent the month of August exploring Los Angeles and other parts of California. I've been many times, but never this long, so it was great to finally be able to check out more of what I hadn't gotten to yet. Anyway, I thought it'd be cool to do a quick guide with some of my LA favorites. Enjoy!
BEST PLACE TO STAY:
Pretty much every time I come to LA I use Airbnb. It's cheaper than a hotel and you can find some AMAZING spots in all the different neighborhoods. This time around I found gems in Malibu and in West Hollywood. Both were in perfect locations, had great interior design and private pools. This made it real hard to leave!
BEST WAY TO GET AROUND:
Hands down, Silvercar. Ever since my first experience renting with them in Dallas, I was hooked. When I heard they opened in LA, I was super excited since the LAX rental car situation can be a serious pain. The process is seamless- you reserve and pick up your rental using their app. The best part is that all their cars are stunning silver Audis with GLORIOUS built-in wi-fi. I selfishly admit that this was perfect for catching up on emails/instagram/twitter/vine/facebook while my poor fiance drove us around in LA traffic.
Good news is that Silvercar has offered to give my readers a 20% discount off their next rental using the code: SILVERCARLEF. This is perfect if you plan on visiting Los Angeles, Dallas, Denver, San Francisco, Miami or Phoenix any time soon. Score!
BEST PLACES TO SHOP:
These are just some of the few I got to hit up while in town, but there are MANY more I am still dying to
Jenni Kayne - 614 N Almont Dr. West Hollywood, CA 90069 (310) 860-0123
I seriously lost my mind over the F/W 2014 collection (the shoes!), the Mansur Gavriel bags and the swoon-worthy selection of jewelry.
Isabel Marant - 8454 Melrose Pl. Los Angeles, CA 90069 (323) 651-1493
I already knew I'd love seeing the collections, so for me the best part was simply seeing the insanely cool design of both the inside and outside of the space. Can I move in please?
General Store - 1801 Lincoln Blvd. Venice, CA 90291 (310) 751-6393
I'm such a fan girl of Hannah Henderson, so this spot was high on my list. The place is filled with an eclectic selection of goodies. I'm head over heels for the jewelry, especially the earrings and ring selection. Can't wait to go back.
