Jeanette Friis Is Remained Vacation-Ready During Fashion Week

During Copenhagen Fashion Week, Jeanette Friis was spotted basking in the sunshine, in a dress that embodies the epitome of it. Her off-the-shoulder mustard-colored maxi dress, complete with a ruffled hem and neckline, made the biggest statement while her basket tote complimented.

Fashion week, or should we say month, has officially kicked off in Berlin. Since many that attend had to brave the icy chill of winter, there was a plethora of bundling, layering and styling creativity seen on the streets. We appreciated the brightness of this style stars look in contrast to the rainy sidewalks behind her. She wore a royal blue chunky knit under a long teddy coat and opted for red cropped pants and the season's favorite 'ugly sneaker'. This is a look we can get behind.

Stockholm fashion week street style is your key to creative dressing during the coldest parts of the winter. Women are braving ice and snow in order to show off the best outerwear and footwear. We already know that animal print is killing it on the runway, but the trend isn't exclusive to just cheetah print and leopard. This gender-neutral, edgy, garish motif is an easily eye-catching print that transforms even the simplest of outfits. During Milan Fashion Week, Erika Boldrin wore it perfectly in a pair of straight leg pants.

There's something about knowing that everything matches that makes getting dressed that much more satisfying. Although colors were abundant at London Fashion Week, we're taking notes from this head-to-toe neutral look.

Behind-The-Scenes Polaroids From The Set Of Clueless

Yesterday marked 20 years since the movie Clueless came out. In honor of the anniversary, a new book As If! was released with all sorts of cool behind-the-scenes details and polaroids. I can't explain the incredible influence the style in this film had in my life. At the time, I didn't understand all the topics discussed, but the fashion (and soundtrack) are what really mattered and what made a huge impact on me. I was in elementary school at the time and tried my hardest to replicate the looks with baby doll tees, plaid skirts, knee high socks, fluffy feather pens and mary-janes. When I think back on it, my teachers must have thought my parents were crazy for letting me dress like that, which makes me appreciate my parents that much more. They knew just how much fashion meant to me and let me go for it. On a side note, the soundtrack is how I first discovered No Doubt. And so began my love affair with the band fronted by my middle school and high school idol— Gwen Stefani, whom I got to take a selfie with last week!

MY AFTERNOON AT HARRY WINSTON

Last week, I was invited to HARRY WINSTON on 5th Avenue for lunch and to check out their iconic engagement ring collection. The moment I stepped through the door I was in diamond heaven! I was given the opportunity to create my dream engagement ring with Harry Winston designers. My dream design would then be sketched for me to take home. I got to see every diamond cut and setting imaginable. I mean, I just about died slipping these rings on my finger! Seriously, the most sparkling beauties I have ever seen! The design I fell in love with was a classic three-carat, round brilliant diamond solitaire ring ♥

We then headed to Harry Winston's old private office (via his tiny personal elevator!), where we were greeted with a delicious elderflower cocktail- one of the best I've ever had! Over cocktails, I got to watch the beautiful video I exclusively posted for you above, showing the design making process of these engagement rings from beginning to end. Ring making is truly an art!

Over the three course lunch we chatted about the diamonds and got to hear some great stories about Harry Winston's history, their charity involvement, and hear about some amazing celebrity and royal encounters. Before leaving, I was presented with my personalized engagement ring sketch- a perfect souvenir that I will make sure to show my boyfriend every chance I get! ;)

Overall, I truly appreciated the personalized experience and getting to learn more about the history and art behind these creations. I want to send out a huge thank you to the Harry Winston team for one of the dreamiest afternoons I've ever had!
