Forget The Pencil Skirt, Try This Summer Office Look Instead
Photo via: @shhtephs
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again; depending on your field, workwear isn’t exclusive to muted pencil skirts and tucked in button down shirts. When paired correctly (and smartly) you can have fun with your office looks, too. This blogger did that perfectly by throwing a double-breasted summer jacket over a printed blouse. Instead of slacks, she opted for high waisted white River Island trousers and rather than picking a simple pump, she kept things seasonal and chic with a pair of strappy heeled sandals.

The Modern Way to Style a Power Suit This Fall
Photo via: Hypebae
At one point, suits and even suiting separates were reserved for the office and the office only. As casual blazers grew in popularity, so did the power suit. With a sleek checked print in baby blue and white and luxe streetwear-inspired Prada sneakers as the statement accessory, the power suit was modernized for an enviable look. Wear yours with oversized sunnies and a micro bag in a matching hue.

The Casual Work Outfit You Can Wear To Happy Hour
Photos via: Song of Style
Switch out your white button-down, black trousers and pumps for something a little more stylized but still very office appropriate. Aimee Song helped us out with another desk-to-dinner outfit idea; a ruffle neck striped blouse looks fantastic underneath a long wool coat. Her cropped straight leg jeans keep this look casual while a pair of bow-embellished kitten heels adds some classy business appeal.

Upgrade Your Work Wear With This Street Style Inspiration
Photo via: Style Du Monde
This season is all about reveling in the fresh, the new, and the lightweight and that summery attitude can extend into your office wardrobe. After wearing the same practical clothes for weeks on end (think button-ups and simple trousers) the hotter weather can be a great excuse to revamp every aspect of your closet. During Haute Couture, Evangelie Smyrniotaki was photographed wearing a work wear to dinner date look. Her intricate red blouse, layered gold necklaces, and red mesh heels are anything but boring.

These Mango Tops Are Perfect for Zoom Meetings
Photo via: Mango
Gone are the days when we could stomp the streets wearing head-to-toe lewks as we head into the office. These days, we're showing face on Zoom calls and Google hangouts as opposed to in-office meetings and events. The best way to assure you look put together during your next meeting? Add a statement top. With sleeves, collars, and details like these, you can keep your baggy sweats on the bottom and still look 9-to-5 chic. Ahead, shop the best tops from Mango for all your virtual workdays.

Take This Look From the Office to Dinner
Photo via: @ivanakorda
There’s nothing we love more than a multi-situational office look; one that can take you from typing at a desk to tapas at your favorite happy hour spot. This fashion blogger gave us just that by pairing minimal but trendy basics; a wool coat, white blouse, raw-hem jeans, and a pair of black leather loafer mules. We’re taking notes.

How to Wear a Suit Without Looking Like You're Going to Work
Photo via: Collage Vintage
These days, a power suit isn't exclusive to the office. If there's any time to play with suiting, it's during the fall. A rich tone, a simple white t-shirt, and casual sneakers will take it from the office and make it appropriate for every day.

How to Survive A Heat Wave At The Office
Photos via: Harper's Bazaar
Although the kids are out for school, the rest of us aren't (except for you lucky teachers!) So when it comes to dressing appropriately in the middle of the summer, it can become a bit tricky. Thankfully, we've found two outfits you can take inspiration from to achieve a cool look during work hours, without sweating off your makeup. Olivia Culpo gives us our first idea in a printed chiffon dress with black mary-janes. The chiffon is breathable and feminine. For option number two, go for a ruffled striped blouse, loose fitting trousers, and funky heels to make it fashionable.
