Le Fashion Blog Jenn Camp My Current Beauty Routine Cat Eye Liner Bold Brows Beachy Waves Sombre Hair Highlighter Pink Lips Summer 2015

I've gotten some requests recently to share my beauty routine, so even though this is a bit out of my comfort zone, I figured why not have a little fun (hello, kissy face!), and give you guys the run-down. I've always been pretty low-key and try to get my makeup done in about 15 minutes. Here's what I currently use for my daily go-to beauty look...

SKIN: My skincare routine is pretty elaborate since I don't have the best of skin- Thank god for Instagram filters! That said, I'll save it for another post, and simply focus on the makeup aspect for now. I need good coverage even in the summer months, so I use a combination of products that feel light but have strong cover game. Under my eyes I dab Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm for a dewy brightness to hide dark spots. I then use a Sonia Kashuk Core Tools Concealer Brush with Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Concealer to cover my blemishes. Using my fingers I then apply and blend L'Oreal Visible Lift Serum Foundation over my face. Last, I set everything with BareMinerals Original Foundation Powder.

BLUSH/BRONZER/HIGHLIGHTER: For some definition, I use either the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Bronzer, Highlighter & Blush Palette in Streak or BareMinerals All-Over Face Color in Warmth. I blend the bronzer with any brush I have handy along my cheekbones, hairline and lightly on my nose and chin. If I'm in the mood for a little color I add some of the blush from the palette over the apples of my cheeks. For highlighting, I'm obsessed with Chantecaille Liquid Lumière Illuminator in Sheen. I dab a little along the top of my cheeks, the inner corner of my eyes and under my brow arch for a flattering and subtle glow.

BROWS: First I groom my eyebrows with the brush end of my Anastasia Beverly Hills Perfect Brow Pencil in Soft Brown and then fill them in with the pencil side. To keep them in place throughout the day, I use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel.

EYES: To begin, I lightly dab one of the bronzers mentioned earlier to my lids for a little depth. Next, I tightline my eyes with simple black eyeliner. I like to use the Almay Contour Crayon Eyeliner since it doesn't smudge as much as a pencil. If I want to add some flair and have some extra time, I like to do a winged cat-eye look with Cover Girl Intensify Me! Liquid Liner. To complete my eyes, I go straight for my Shiseido Eyelash Curler and throw on a few coats of Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara in Very Black.

LIPS: I usually use a mix of Ilia Lipstick in In My Room and Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment in Rosé. If I want a brighter pop of color I like to use Nars Lipstick in Heat Wave or Ilia Tinted Lip Conditioner in Bang Bang.

HAIR: For the look in the photos I let my hair air dry after spritzing in Bumble and bumble Surf Spray and applying Rodin Luxury Hair Oil to the ends.

ps- My earrings are Rebecca Minkoff.

15 Stylish (Very) Last-Minute Valentine's Day Gift Ideas

15 Stylish Last Minute Valentines Day Gift Ideas for Men and Women — Amazon Prime 2 Day Shipping Expedited — Boy Smells Candle — Merit Mascara — Saie Skin Tint — Ooni Pizza —Sunday Riley CEO — Perelel Vitamins — Conversations With Friends by Sally Rooney — Everlane Gift Card — Tie Dye Socks — Chic Dog Collar — Seven Days in June Tia Williams — Saturday Skin Pore — Maison Irem Chain Necklace — Kitsch Jade Roller

If you're anything like me, you tend to procrastinate when it comes to holiday gifts. I rounded up some stylish (very) last-minute gift ideas for Valentine's Day for all your loved ones this season. Most can be ordered with free Amazon Prime 2-Day shipping or picked up locally, but if worse comes to worse, try writing a sweet note that shares news that the gift is on it's way.

1. Perelel Vitamins — These vitamins are great for both the men and women in your life, especially any friends or family that are planning on having a baby, are already pregnant, or are new moms. This is also a great gift to give yourself, just saying. The vitamins come in chic packaging to boot.  Get 15% off your first order with code LEFASHION15.

2. NuFACE Trinity Facial Toning Device — If you haven't seen the before and afters people are sharing on social media, it's definitely worth looking into. The lift this device gives is a big confidence booster. Shopbop offers 2-day Amazon Prime shipping or you can pick up in person at Sephora.

3. Maison Irem Kyla Chain Necklace — This trending chain necklace is great worn on it's own or layered with other pieces. Get the necklace through Shopbop with 2-day Amazon Prime shipping.

4. Kitsch Jade Roller — These rollers have become one of my go-to gifts. Even if the recipient already has one, an extra is great for their travel kit or to have on reserve chilling in the fridge. Get one from Shopbop with 2-day Amazon Prime shipping or shop this more budget-friendly option.

5. Boy Smells Candles — These candles double as décor and come in a variety of pleasing scents. You can order from Shopbop with 2-day Amazon Prime shipping.

6. Saie Slip Tint Dewy Tinted Moisturizer SPF 35 Sunscreen — This is an everyday staple in my current routine to get an awesome glow, so I am always happy to get others hooked. You might be able to get expedited shipping from Sephora, but either way you can pick it up in person at your local Sephora.

7. MERIT Clean Lash Lengthening Mascara — This is one of my top two mascaras since it's clean and doesn't smudge. You might be able to get expedited shipping from Sephora, but if not, you should be able to pick it up in person at your local Sephora.

8. Ooni Wood Fired Outdoor Pizza Oven — Gourmet personalized pizzas made right at home. Need I say more? Your loved one won't forget this and technically it's a gift to yourself if they invite you over to try it out.

9. Conversations with Friends by Sally Rooney — A recent favorite of mine and just in time to read it before the show adaptation premieres on Hulu next month.

10. Saturday Skin Pore Clarifying Toner — I swear by this toner. It has 10% Glycolic Acid which helps to smooth skin and quickly clear up acne. The minute I feel a break out coming I dab some on the spot.

11. Sunday Riley C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum — This is a fan favorite that "visibly minimize pores, brighten dark spots, and target signs of aging." You might be able to get expedited shipping from Sephora or simply pick it up in person at your nearby Sephora.

12. Everlane Gift Card (Digital Download) — This is a no-brainer no matter the personal style or age since Everlane carries a great variety of basics. I've always gotten great feedback with this option.

13. Rag & Bone Baby Boyfriend Dog Collar — I've never met a pet parent that doesn't want to bring their pet accessories to the next level. I love the neutral color of this pick. You can order from Shopbop with 2-day Amazon Prime shipping.

14. Isabel Marant Silara Socks — These tie-dye socks are cozy and cool. I recommend wearing them with Birkenstock sandals or Birkenstock clogs. All can be ordered from Shopbop with 2-day Amazon Prime shipping.

15. Seven Days in June by Tia Williams — This New York Times Best seller has a lot of buzz and is a Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick. Plus, it will soon be adapted for television.

Le Fashion Blog -- LA Los Angeles Guide -- Where To Eat, Stay, Shop, Rental Car, Hair Salon...etc -- photo Le-Fashion-Blog-LA-Los-Angeles-Guide-Where-To-Eat-Stay-Airbnb-Shop-Silvercar-Rental-Car-Salon.jpg
Photos: My Own

As some of you may know from my instagram feed, I spent the month of August exploring Los Angeles and other parts of California. I've been many times, but never this long, so it was great to finally be able to check out more of what I hadn't gotten to yet. Anyway, I thought it'd be cool to do a quick guide with some of my LA favorites. Enjoy!

Le Fashion Blog -- LA Los Angeles Guide -- Where To Stay Airbnb -- photo Le-Fashion-Blog-LA-Los-Angeles-Guide-Where-To-Stay-Airbnb.jpg

Pretty much every time I come to LA I use Airbnb. It's cheaper than a hotel and you can find some AMAZING spots in all the different neighborhoods. This time around I found gems in Malibu and in West Hollywood. Both were in perfect locations, had great interior design and private pools. This made it real hard to leave!

Le Fashion Blog -- LA Los Angeles Guide -- Best Way To Get Around -- Silvercar Rental Car -- Discount Code -- photo Le-Fashion-Blog-LA-Los-Angeles-Guide-Best-Way-To-Get-Around-Silvercar-Rental-Car-Discount-Code.jpg

Hands down, Silvercar. Ever since my first experience renting with them in Dallas, I was hooked. When I heard they opened in LA, I was super excited since the LAX rental car situation can be a serious pain. The process is seamless- you reserve and pick up your rental using their app. The best part is that all their cars are stunning silver Audis with GLORIOUS built-in wi-fi. I selfishly admit that this was perfect for catching up on emails/instagram/twitter/vine/facebook while my poor fiance drove us around in LA traffic.

Good news is that Silvercar has offered to give my readers a 20% discount off their next rental using the code: SILVERCARLEF. This is perfect if you plan on visiting Los Angeles, Dallas, Denver, San Francisco, Miami or Phoenix any time soon. Score!

Le Fashion Blog -- LA Los Angeles Guide -- Best Places To Shop: Isabel Marant, Jenni Kayne, General Store -- photo Le-Fashion-Blog-LA-Los-Angeles-Guide-Best-Places-To-Shop-Isabel-Marant-Jenni-Kayne-General-Store.jpg

These are just some of the few I got to hit up while in town, but there are MANY more I am still dying to browse spend all my money at...

Jenni Kayne - 614 N Almont Dr. West Hollywood, CA 90069 (310) 860-0123
I seriously lost my mind over the F/W 2014 collection (the shoes!), the Mansur Gavriel bags and the swoon-worthy selection of jewelry.

Isabel Marant - 8454 Melrose Pl. Los Angeles, CA 90069 (323) 651-1493
I already knew I'd love seeing the collections, so for me the best part was simply seeing the insanely cool design of both the inside and outside of the space. Can I move in please?

General Store - 1801 Lincoln Blvd. Venice, CA 90291 (310) 751-6393
I'm such a fan girl of Hannah Henderson, so this spot was high on my list. The place is filled with an eclectic selection of goodies. I'm head over heels for the jewelry, especially the earrings and ring selection. Can't wait to go back.

i was super excited to get the opportunity to interview JADE from SUNDAYGIRL! i loved her style in her video "four floors" and wanted to know more about her. she agreed to answer some questions...

Is it annoying to keep being be asked if the name SundayGirl was inspired
by the Blondie hit? I know it's not the inspiration, but it must be asked a lot.

The name Sunday Girl came from working in a local old fashioned pet shop
in my hometown, Broxbourne for a few years. I worked every Sunday but no
one really knew my name so I would just get referred to as the “Sunday girl.”

I know you're 21 and from the UK...How does your age and living in the UK
influence your music and style?

Two years ago I moved to Brixton to do an art degree in Wimbledon I think
that brought out a more independent creativity. I really experimented with
my writing and production musically as well as producing pieces for my set
design degree, which I found were closely linked.

In my teens I went a bit mad going through loads of style changes, as
everyone does I suppose but I think its great to experiment with fashion and
make and destroy clothes and really find what you like. I think my style now
is quite classic, tailored and masculine. I love dressing like a boy it’s a
contrast to my big girly hair.

Music influences my style too, I mean one minute I was in a ska band the next
a ukulele band doing old jazz covers.

Style Icons?
My main style icon is Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel. I love how she turned clothes
designed for men into something that women could wear too. I also take
influences from Jane Birkin, Daphne Guinness, Debbie Harry , Karl Lagerfeld
and Edie Sedgwick.

Favorite designers and/or places to shop?
H&M and Zara for the basics and my loft, my nans wardrobe a bit of car boot
sales and vintage shops for making it personal.

I noticed you wearing stripes in the video...are you as obsessed with stripes as I am?
Yes I am a bit obsessed with stripes but anything Parisian and sea related really.

Words to live by?
“get good at asking” + “if you don’t act on life it has a habit of acting on you”

Favorite City?
My favourite place has to be Hastings. My dad has a caravan there, which
I go to most weekends to write, draw and shop.

Beauty product you couldn't live without?
I'm bad with makeup I never buy my own, I steal everyone else’s but I think
I could live without my Clarins Bi-serum after a night out.

Do you read any fashion blogs? If so, which ones? and I admire Tavi Gevinsons blog, StyleRookie.

What's in your bag?
My Dad’s raybans , lyric book, a fork, tooth brush, ideas book, diary, camera,
devon floral sweets. My vintage Cartier wallet and some cds.

thanks jade!

for more check out the SUNDAYGIRL's myspace.
so you all know there will be another single released soon.
the album should be available later this year.
